Calls

str.upper

element-wise.

For 8-bit strings, this method is locale-dependent.

Parameters:aarray-like, with StringDType, bytes_, or str_ dtypeInput array.

Returns:outndarrayOutput array of StringDType, bytes_ or str_ dtype, depending on input types
